At the event scheduled for today, Meizu unveiled their new smartphone the M3E. Customers were expecting this device to be launched today to be the M1E as this is the device we had been seeing in a couple of leaks but looks like Meizu has other plans.
Talking about the M3E, the device bears striking resemblance to the Meizu M3 Note. The device, which will be called by the name Meilane E in China features a 5.5″ full HD display framed in a metal unibody. Under the hood, the MT6755 Helio P10 SoC paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM keeps the phone going.

Talking about other specs, the device features a 13 MP snapper on the back and a 5 MP unit on the front. On-board storage amounts to 32 GB and you have an extra layer of security with the fingerprint scanner right below the display. The device measures 153.6 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 172 grams. With a 3,100 mAh battery to keep it going, the M3E will retail for about $190.
