A Chinese giant better known as Meizu is expected to launch its 3 new devices in the Chinese market. The three devices namely are Meizu 15 Lite, Meizu 15, and the Meizu 15 Plus. Earlier an image clicked using Meizu 15 Plus was leaked on the internet. Now it has appeared on the Antutu Benchmark listings. The launch event of these devices is scheduled on 22nd April in China. So let’s check out some detailed information about these handsets.
As per our analysis, Meizu 15 Plus is superior to two other options. Considering Antutu listing, Meizu 15 Plus will come powered by an Exynos 8895(64 bit) Octa-Core processor . This is not the first time when Meizu is using Samsung’s chipset. Earlier in Meizu M6s, Meizu Pro 6 Plus they have opted to go with Samsung’s homegrown Exynos chipsets. As suggested by the leak, the device will come with 6GB of RAM along with a Mali-G71 GPU for gaming. The entire setup is very familiar to us as it is exactly the same arrangement witnessed in last year’s Galaxy S8-series, Galaxy Note 8 devices.
The device is leaked to come with a 5.95(inch) Display of resolution 2560 x 1440 pixels. We are sad to see that even in 2018 Meizu is coming up with a Display of 16:9 aspect ratio. The display is rumored to be an AMOLED panel and for other features, the phone will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. On this forthcoming device, a user will be getting FlymeOS based on Android 7.0 Nougat instead of Android Oreo which is indigestible too.
Previous leaks suggest the device will house a 3430 mAh battery. In terms of Camera, it will possess a Dual 12MP+20MP camera whereas in the front a 20MP selfie shooter. No extra info is there about the camera setup is there. So we can’t yet comment that whether the secondary sensor is a monochrome one or a telephoto.
After deeply examining the leaked image, we can say that the device will offer a good low light camera performance, which indirectly means that it will possess a wider aperture. Meizu 15 is expected to house a smaller 5.46(inch) Full HD AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device will get power from the same Exynos 8895 SoC but here you may have to compromise in the battery department with a 2940mAh capacity. For more detailed information we have to wait for the official launch till then stay tuned to GoAndroid.
