The company has been believed to be working on two Cortex-A53-based chipsets and also on a super fast Octa Core Mediatek MT6595, the company has also been working on the Mediatek MT6591 chipset. Which is more like a Six Core Processor, similar to the recently announced Exynos 5260 Hexa.
The chipset is called as MT6591 and it is already in the process of production. And according to the reports, it would be out by the second half of this year. With the advacement in technology at this great pace, and coming up of some really crunchy chipsets, this year we can expect some great devices, that would be having great processing power, and performance.
The roadmap was leaked on the Chinese Media and is yet unknown whether this new chipset would be using the ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture just like the Exynos Hexa uses in it, but it seems it won’t be using it.
