Xiaomi by now is known all over the globe for producing feature rich yet affordable smartphone and one such smartphone is the Redmi Note 3 which was released not too long ago. The device was appreciated by people and critics for its features. However, one thing people think it should’ve shipped with is the Android Marshmallow. However, looks like things are about to change as Xiaomi is about to begin testing the marshmallow build for Redmi Note 3.
The testing was supposed to be on its way already but MIUI’s operations manager’s Weibo account tells us that due to some last minute problems the testing has been postponed. The testing was scheduled to begin earlier this week.
Interestingly, the Marshmallow build is only for the Snapdragon variant. So the MediaTek variant will possibly have to wait a little longer to get a taste of that Marshmallow.
