Merely a week ago, an update to the revolutionary Magisk brought capability to root the latest Android P Developer Preview 1. While most of the Pixel owners on the preview build had successfully gained the root access, unfortunately they weren’t able to install the magisk proprietary modules on the system. Anyway, the root interface is now updated to a newer version 16.2 fixing the Magisk module installation issue on Android P.
The Magisk 16.2 is a beta build and a sort of minor release focussed on fixing bugs that were a part of the previous version 16.1. The developer has also updated the Magisk Manager apk to 5.6.3, that basically fixes the repo loading UI logic.
Changelog
Magisk 16.2
- [General] Force use system binaries in handling ext4 images (fix module installation on Android P)
- [MagiskHide] Change property state to disable if logd is disabled
Magisk Manager 5.6.3
- Fix repo loading UI logic
