Couple of years ago, when Motorola made a come pack under the guidance of Google, they took care of updates in a pretty well manner. Now, the things have changed, Motorola has not remained the same as that of what it was few years ago. Now, users get effed up with the notorious attitude towards providing the updates.
Still, we have possibilities that Motorola will provide the latest Android 8.0 oreo update to its major smartphones. Motorola has also shared a list of devices which will be getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update soon.
Here is the list of the devices that are expected to receive the update:
Moto G5 Plus
Motorola’s recently launched jewel with some mid level specs is all set to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update very soon. Moto G5 Plus to get Android Oreo and in some areas the beta version is now available for download. These models to get the update:

- XT1685
- XT1687
Moto G5
Moto G5, little smaller variant of the G5 Plus. This device is also on radar to get the latest ANdroid 8.0 Oreo update. The major reason behind the update is the launch of device this year.
Other variants of the Moto G5 series to get the Oreo update are:

- Moto G5S Plus
Moto Z
Motorola’s newly launched series Z series is on the list to get the update. We have already curated the list of the devices getting Android 8.0 Oreo in near Future. Well, it is on the list but if we compare it with the ground reality than it has received the Android 7.1.1 Nougat recently. We are expecting the Oreo by the end of this year for Moto Z.

The successor of the Moto Z or we can sa the second generation device from the Motorola. The Motorola Z2 Play is slated to get the Oreo by the end of this year. Motorola Moto Z2 Play is a high end device with some outstanding specs.

Moto G4 Plus
Moto G4 Plus has been Officially confirmed to get the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update. It is good sign for the Motorola G4 users as they are getting the second big update since last year. Similarly, we can expect the Android P for Moto G5 generation.
Nokia has also confirmed to give Android P to all the four devices the Finnish company has launched this year.
There are many other device which are not in the list. Currently, we are not confirmed about them and those devices include Moto G3, Moto E4 Plus, Moto C Plus, Moto E4, Moto G4 Play and many others.
