This year we have seen flagships really take the beauty of bezel-less screens to heart. And sales numbers say people like it. Samsung S8 pre-orders broke quite some past barriers when it launched. Only this design has been confined to the high-end flagships. Now, imagine if these razor thin bezels are unleashed on the mid-range segment.
What we are talking about is an LG phone called LG Q6 that appeared on the FCC with model number M700. Accurate tipster, Evan Blass came up with the piece of info on his Twitter account. Before this newly revealed info, the LG Q6 was leaked as LG G6 Mini in April brought to us by Jon Rettinger (@Jon4Lakers) of Technobuffalo. At that time, many images of the purported upcoming little brother of the LG G6 were posted by the tech news website.
Now the images that were posted earlier, show a dual camera at the back. Also, the rear has LG G6 written onto it instead LG Q6. Technobuffalo also revealed some dimensions of the device saying it would have a 5.4-inch screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. That is just under 80% screen compared to 20% front body. That isn’t a huge difference compared to the LG G6 which has a 5.7-inch screen.
This will be known as the LG Q6 (recently hit FCC under model number M700) — also 18.5:9, but with a single 13MP camera & 3GB RAM. https://t.co/JdSJi8e4wL

Evan Blass believes the LG Q6 will have a 13 MP single camera and 3GB of RAM. This might make the device much more affordable. Moreover, the LG G6 has a Snapdragon 821 chipset. We don’t know what chip will rock the LG Q6. As are other specs of the device unknown.
Nonetheless, since this device has passed the FCC, it is certain it will launch in due time. And if it is a downgraded version of the LG G6, we just might see a bezel-less mid-ranger. That’s the most interesting part. Stay tuned. We will surely update this story going forward.
