LG is lagging behind in the international smartphone markets, but that’s not making them stop launching new smartphones. The South Korean electronics giant launches the 2018 version of X5 with a massive 4,500 mAh battery in their home country. When compared to fellow Samsung’s offerings in the nation, the X5 2018 does not stand out.
The LG X5 2018 will be available at KRW 3,63,000 from three major South Korean carriers – SKT, KT, and LG U+. As for specifications are concerned, the smartphone does not feature powerful internals other than the battery. It is powered by Mediatek MT6750 coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, it features a microSD card slot to expand the storage if needed.
Other features of the LG X5 2018 include a 13MP single rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The fingerprint sensor sits below the rear camera module and the phone also supports LG Pay. Though the phone packs a bigger 4,500 mAh battery, it only weighs 171 grams. Lastly, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with LG UX out of the box. It will be available only in Morokan Blue color option.
LG did not reveal anything about the international availability of the X5 2018 yet. Even, the launch in the home country was made quietly without any press meeting.
