As we reported few days ago that LG G3 is going to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop and today LG has confirmed itself in a post on LG’s official German Facebook page. It reveals that the company will actually be one of the first to have Lollipop ready for its latest flagship.
LG’s lineup for update also includes LG G2. After the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout on LG G3, soon after, the update will be available on LG G2. As per the post the update will be available on LG G3 before the end of this year means by Q4 2014. Here’s What LG actually said on its Germany Page:
Hello everyone, we want to inform you hereby, that it upgrade to Android 5.0 2014 will be published lollipop for the LG G3 in the fourth quarter. The upgrade package for the LG G2 will follow. LG Sascha
Asus is going to rollout the Android 5.0 update to Zenfones and Padfones by the Mid of next year. As talking on its own Zentalk Forums company reveals its plans to provide Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the ZenFone 4, 5, and 6 are all set to receive Lollipop in April 2015, as is the PadFone S.
Additionally, Android 5.0 was first unveiled at Google I/O and was formally announced in mid-October.
