LG has annocuned new G Pad II 8.3 LTE Tablet with SD-615 Soc. It’s the third variant of the other two sizes of same tablet, which includes 8 inch and 10.1 inch variants.
LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE includes 8.3″ display bearing a resolution of 1920 x 1200. It is powered by the octa-core processor and Adreno 405 GPU running under the hood. LG has paired the 64-bit chipset with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a non-removable 4,800 mAh battery.
It features an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front shooter. Measuring 216.8×126.5×8.8mm and weighing in at 366g. The tablet also packs in a stylus and support for 4G LTE, and runs on Android 5.1.1 which is surprising considering that it has been a while since Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been publicly released.
In Connectivity it comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. It is available in Brown Gold Color and will be available in South Korea, where local wireless carrier LG U+ will start selling it tomorrow – December 23. there’s no quote from company side regarding the Global rollout.
