LG ha s made the announcement of LG G Flex 2 at CES 2015. It was earlier rumored to be launched and yesterday even we showed you the banner ad at the CES 2015 itself. Well the new curved bend is again here with some upgrade to its design in comparison to its predecessor, G Flex.
It blends the heritage of the original G Flex with the all-new Snapdragon 810 processor. It is packed 5.5 inch LG’s homemade P-OLED tech Display and incorporated with Gorilla Glass 3. LG G Flex 2 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop and 2GB of RAM. For storage there’s 16GB or 32GB, plus a microSD card. It is coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU and its display has a 700mm-radius curvature. LG G Flex2 sports a rear 13.0-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS+), dual-LED two-tone flash, and laser-guided autofocus.
LG G Flex 2 features a dramatic curve from top to bottom, that not only looks unique but is supposed to make it more ergonomic to use. 3,000mAh embedded battery is also a part of the package.
Juno Cho, President and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said of the launch, “The original G Flex demonstrated LG’s pioneering spirit and with the G Flex2 we have refined the curved form factor, staying true to our philosophy of innovation for a better life. The G Flex2 not only has the stunning looks, it also has the powerful guts to be at the cutting edge of current smartphone technology. Simply put, it’s a true head-turner in every sense of the word.”
The G Flex 2 will start its rollout in Korea, with no word on exactly when it’ll be coming to the states other than “soon.”
