Galaxy Nexus users can now taste newly launched Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Officially Galaxy Nexus is also on list of devices to get Jell Bean but if anyone wants to try it earlier than schedule than this is for you. According to Rootzwiki developer, jdkoreclipse, the ROM can be installed on Galaxy Nexus Smartphones on both CDMA and GSM versions.
According to users ROM is working well on both unlocked and Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus. To install the leak requires that a device be rooted, though other versions that are making the rounds can apparently be flashed on stock handsets. here’s the disclaimer from RootzWiki:
This is not the official and final Jellybean edition; this is based on a nandroid backup of the GSM preview build that was rolled out at Google I/O. There may be bugs, crashes, freezes, or other issues. The butter may leak out. Install at your own risk, and make sure to enjoy yourself when you do.
