With the launch of Android O, Google’s OS will be 8 years old. And after so much evolution, the mobile software is now more usable than it was ever before. As with the rising popularity, this year much speculation is going on over what the codename Android “O” signifies. Credible insider, Evan Blass thinks it will be Android Oreo. But new info has just surfaced pointing out that it will be Android Orellete.
Now, before you go ga-ga over what Orellete is and from where it has its origin. Let us clear the name, Orelletes are thinly fried pastries coated with sugar mainly eaten in parts of Spain and France. The news comes from an unknown source that shared the info to Cliff Wade. You might know, Cliff Wade is the customer support manager of Nova Launcher.
This info comes out of nowhere, and quite as a bit of surprise. As no rumor earlier than this has even mildly hinted towards this name. Other rumors have suggested, Oatmeal Cookie, or Octopus but that’s pretty much of it. Let us know what you think Android O will be named in the comments below.
