A new entry-level smartphone has made its debut in India. This time, the device is from Lava. The Lava Z3 is finally official in the country with decent specs at an affordable price and admirable design. Here’s a detailed look at the new handset.

The Lava Z3 is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. The panel offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 263 ppl pixel density. It measures 164.5 x 73.8 x 8.9mm in dimensions and weighs 192 grams.
The rear side of the Lava Z3 carries a dual-camera setup with an attractive patterned design. It comprises an 8 MP primary lens and a secondary sensor alongside an LED flash. On the other side, there’s a single 5 MP front snapper housed inside a waterdrop notch.
On the software front, the Lava Z3 comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS. Under the helm, the handset powers the Helio A20 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Furthermore, a 5,000 mAh battery keeps the system working. The other specifications include a microSD card slot, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. To serve security, the Lava Z3 has a face unlock feature and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
