OnePlus is damn quick when it comes to rolling out an update for their devices. A few days back they have rolled out the much anticipated OxygenOS 5.1.8 update to fix the problems caused by the most criticized OxygenOS 5.1.6. Analyzing the record of OnePlus we can say that they are good in the development segment but often we have seen them releasing faulty updates. This time as well something similar has happened. If you are using any of the OnePlus devices then do consider reading the entire story.
Users on OnePlus forums have reported that even with the latest update they are facing several issues with their devices. According to OnePlus 6 users, their device’s battery is getting drained rapidly. This issue has been reported by a majority of users and this particular bug is occurring after the OxygenOS 5.1.6 and 5.1.8 update. Users are getting a half screen on time even when their usage is same. One more issue is coming into existence in which the device gets shut down even when the battery percentage is above 50%.
Some users are also facing camera app freezes and lags. Some similar issues have also reported by OnePlus 3 and 3T users on the community page. The battery after the update is draining like anything. OnePlus hasn’t said anything for now, however, we are expecting a new update from them to fix these bugs. Although no OnePlus 5/5T users have reported anything similar, if you are facing these issues with your OnePlus device then do let us know in the comment box.
