India-based phone maker Karbonn has introduced an entry-level Android device named Karbonn K9 Smart. The phone will be available online as well as offline in India priced Rs 5,290. Two colour options of Black and Champagne will be available.
Starting with the specs, the phone has a pretty average 5.2-inch FWVGA display (854 x 480 pixels) and has an unknown 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The phone has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. This is expandable to 32 GB via the memory card slot. Thankfully, the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, at least.
Talking about the photography department, it’s endowed with an 8 MP camera with LED flash on the rear while the front has a 5 MP sensor. The whole package will be supplied power by a 2,300 juice pack. Karbonn says the battery will last up to 8-hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby. The phone also offers buyers the luxury of a fingerprint scanner.
Apart from that, connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot, GPS, Dual SIM are present. The phone also has OTG support and has Accelerometer, Proximity & Ambient Light Sensor built into it. Karbonn K9 Smart Grand is priced Rs 5,290. The phone measures 178 gm.
