JioTV, the premium TV app service for the Jio users is getting a new update on this occasion of IPL and Election heat. The latest JioTV 5.6.1 app comes with a nifty feature that should’ve been present along before. Nonetheless, the PiP (Picture-in-Picture) feature is finally coming to the app.
The PiP on JioTV works just like as YouTube PiP and on similar apps. While viewing contents on JioTV press the home button and the video will be playing uninterrupted in short pop-up window.

It goes without saying that, the PiP feature is available only on devices running Android Oreo 8.0 or higher. The JioTV also supports Split Screen and Samsung Pop-up-View with the update. For split-screen viewing, the device requirement is Android Nougat and above.
