Jio Phone pre-order starts today evening 5:30 pm onwards

It was on 21st of the last month. When Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Jio Industries limited (RJIL) officially unveiled the so called India ka smartphone, The Jio Phone. The blast it had created then, on the Indian citizens, is beyond my scope to describe. At the same time, we all know that still it’s not accessible for the common people such as us, till now. But, true to the Mukesh Ambani’s words said at Jio AGM. The Jio Phone will now be available to take pre-order from the public starting from today evening 5:30p.m onwards. Excited! aren’t you?

The Jio official website has already put up the banner for inviting pre-orders on Jio Phone’s dedicated page. As we already know, pre-ordering can be done online as well as offline through authorized Jio retailers. In addition, payment of Rs. 1,500 as one-time refundable security deposit is made mandatory.

How to Pre-Book Jio Phone

Online Mode:

Online pre-booking can be done either on MyJio app or Jio official website. On MyJio app follow the below provided steps when the pre-booking goes live.

• Open the MyJio App
• Click on Pre-Book button seen on Pre-Booking screen that pop-ups
• On the page that appears after the above step. Input Mobile Number and pincode. Click proceed
• Provide necessary payment details for completing the transaction
• Once payment is successful. You will receive a confirmation message.
• You have Successfully pre-ordered the JioPhone!!!

Offline: Visit the nearest Reliance Digital stores or Jio retailers for pre-booking of the phone.

Just now I have gone through the detailed specs that Jio Phone has to offer us. And after that I am totally boggled. Still thinking, what actually is the difference between a feature phone and a smartphone. Once you go through the features(provided below) Jio Phone boards you may realise that it is a smartphone disguised under a feature phone price tag.
