The Sony Xperia ZL2 has been officially revealed in Japan, the first country to get it so far. This is the second phone to follow in the series, with slimmer bezels.
The device carries the 5″ 1080p display which was also seen in Xperia ZL along with Sony Mobile BRAVIA engine. Going inside, the phone runs on a Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB chipset with a 2.3GHz quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. 32GB of internal storage and if thats not enough, an external microSD card to take the storage space up by another 128GB. A 20.7MP camera at the back that can record videos of upto 4k and click photos with of upto 5,248 x 3,936 pixel resolution. To power it, a 3000mAh Li-ion non removable battery is present. On the connectivity front, you get Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and the latest Wi-Fi 802.11.
The new Xperia ZL2 is a bit bigger and size and heavier that its predecessor, the Xperia ZL by 16g. The phone will be available in three colours: black, white and a turquoise blue.
