iQOO recently launched the successor to the iQOO Z3 dubbed as iQOO Z5. It came with an upgraded chipset, battery, and better cameras. It seems that iQOO is planning to launch more devices in the iQOO Z5 series. The new device iQOO Z5x was spotted on the GeekBench listing. Earlier, it also appeared on the TENAA, 3C, and the Google Play Console listing. Since the device has appeared at all these certifications, most of the specifications of the upcoming device are known. The listing in the IMEI database revealed the name of the device.
According to the GeekBench listing, the iQOO Z5x will feature the model number V2131A. The listing also says that the smartphone will sport the MediaTek MT6877V/ZA chipset. The same is the codename for the popular chipset MediaTek Dimensity 900. The listing suggests that the chipset will pair with 6GB RAM and run on Android 11 (Origin OS) out of the box. Apart from this, the GeekBench listing doesn’t reveal many details.
As said, the device was listed on TENAA, which suggests that the phone will also come in an 8GB variant. It will also be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. The listing said it would sport a 6.58 inches TFT display. It will feature a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it gets an 8 MP sensor. The iQOO Z5x measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm and weighs around 169 grams.
The listing also says that it will feature a 4880 mAh battery. It is likely to come with an official capacity of 5,000 mAh battery. A 3C listing revealed that the device would support 5G and come with a 44W charger in the box. The device is already listed on the Chinese e-retailer platform JD.com for pre-bookings. The specification revealed via TENAA match with the Google Play Console listing.
