This new update is currently in rolling phase and has been released for both iOS and Android platform. In brief, the latest introduced feature allows you to share a friend’s story in which you are tagged in that story. Whenever a friend of yours will post a story mentioning you, in your inbox, you will receive a message containing that specific story. After installing this new update you will find a new option there suggesting “add this story to your story”. After tapping on that you will be directed to the edit page of the story where you can apply some tweaks like stickers, filters, etc.
This story will appear a little different to the audience compared to the normal one. It will appear a little smaller with a colored border and anyone from your followers will be able to tap your friend’s name and check out his/her profile. This update comes as the version 48 for both Android and iOS platforms. The person having private can’t enjoy this feature as it is only limited to public accounts.
