After being available only in China for a couple of months, the HTC Desire 516 seems to be coming to India after a long wait. The mid-range smartphone from HTC may soon find its way into the Indian market as an import tracking website claims that the device has landed in various parts of India in huge numbers. The shipment has arrived in the past couple of days and will be handed out to retailers before the official release of the device.
The device comes with decent specs for a mid-range phone, boasting of a 5″ display screen offering resolution of 540 x 960. Inside the hood, you’ll find a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM. The device comes with a 5 MP shutter with flash on the back while a 0.3 MP camera on the front is all you have for clicking selfies.
The device runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean and will be available in Pearl White and Dark Gray color schemes.
