After receiving exceedingly good response in China its surrounding Asian nations, the Xiaomi Mi-3 has been finally announced in the Indian smartphone market today.
The Xiaomi Mi-3 was announced today and is up for pre-ordering starting today till the July 21st. Deliveries will start from 22nd July. You can currently pre-order the device for INR 13,999 and not INR 14,999 as was rumored earlier through Flipkart which is its official retailer.
And thats not all. At today’s launch event was present Xiaomi’s CEO Bin Lin who also announced that other Xiaomi smartphones are on their way to the Indian market. You can expect the RedMi Note to be here to be available in India later in August for INR 9,999 while the more-affordable Xiaomi 1s would be available in early August with a price tag of INR 6,999.
Xiaomi also announced that they are on their way to opening up 36 service centers in India of which 2 will be in New Delhi and for these 2 centers in Delhi, Xiaomi claims the turnaround time to be as little as 2 hours.
