Last week, IFTTT rolled an update with an addition of 24 services to its app. IFTTT is not stopping as they are adding more new services and channels to the app. It seems they are now moving towards more AI based services.
Recently, they added Sonos, which is a well established company in multi-room audio space. It provides very good sound products for walled garden, home theatre, roof speakers and many others. They are trying to make all their products compatible with the IFTTT app. Sonos users were already struggling for the sync the audio via Google Assistant or other virtual attachments. It would be not a lot easier for them to sync, attach the Sonos products with their smart devices.
On the other hand, IFTTT offers some more services and channels. The other new service is from Mui, which is a Japanese company with wooden IoT signage for hospitality spaces. It will allow the new services to use with Alexa, LINE, Slack and more.
