[Update: September 2021 security patch] Huawei Nova 5T Updates Tracker

In August 2019, Huawei Nova 5T was officially launched boosting Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box. The device flaunts a 6.26 inch IPS LCD paired with up to 128GB of storage and 8GB RAM. Kirin 980 chipset runs the device based on an octa-core processor and Mali-G76 MP10 GPU. A 32 MP shooter clicks the selfies while a 48 MP primary lens leads the quad rear camera.

• [September 20, 2021]: Huawei Nova 5T  is getting a new software update in selected European markets. The package bumps the EMUI 11 version to V11.0.0.177 and adds the current security maintenance, September 2021. The Android 11 based update weighs 174MB in size and carries system stability and performance improvements.
• [March 29, 2021]: The Huawei Nova 5T is tasting the EMUI 11 update. The new Skin update bears version 11.0.0.138 (C431E3R1P4) and weighs nearly 1.78 GB. The update is currently spinning in the UK and other selected countries. To read about the features and changes, visit our dedicated article.

The OTA update is rolling out in batches, making it take more time to reach all units. The user can either wait or track the build manually. To do this, head over to System under the Settings app > Software update > Check for updates.
