Huawei’s event in Wuhan, China today not only had unveiled the new Nova 5 smartphones but also marked the launch of a flagship tablet – the Huawei MediaPad M6. Powered by the latest flagship processor HiSilicon Kirin 980, the M6 is a powerful tab coming in at two sizes – an 8.4 inch and a larger 10.8-inch model.
Both 10.8 inch and 8.4-inch model of the MediaPad 6 Pro shares the same internals, but a major difference lies in the battery department, apart from the display size obviously. The smaller 8.4-inch tablet has a 6100mAh battery, while the 10.8-inch variant packs a huge 7500mAh battery. It’s worth the mention as both of the Huawei MediaPad M6’s come with 2K display resolution and flaunts Harman Kardon tuned speakers.
As mentioned earlier, the MediaPad M6 is powered by the octa-core Huawei Kirin 980 CPU coupled with Mali-G76 GPU having GPU Turbo 3.0 support. The devices only come in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations. The tablets are available based on LTE and WiFi-only basis as well. For photography, the tablets have a 13Mp rear shooter and a mediocre 8MP selfie shooter.
