Huawei Mate S has been officially unveiled at IFA in Berlin. Today at the IFA press event, Huawei launched the follow up of Ascend Mate 7. 5.5-inch Mate S is bringing the exact same Force Touch technology seen in the Apple Watch to a phone for the first time.
Huawei comes with Sleeker design with a diamond-cut metal unibody and “2.5D” Gorilla Glass with curved edges. Other things that includes in the latest flagship fro huawei are 7.2mm thickness, Kirin chipset, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, stepped battery rated for over one full day and an improved rear-fixed fingerprint sensor.
technically, it is powered with 2.2GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935Mali T-628 MP4 GPU. Its 3 GB RAM will boost the processor to perform even better along with 32 GB on board storage. Camera wise company drilled it with a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS and a RGBW sensor, similar to what the company used in the P8 earlier this year. That’s paired with a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
It is running on EMUI 3.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
