Huawei Mate 9 has finally been launched at an event held in Munich, Germany. It’s a new flagship from Huawei with some of high end features like Dual leica camera and Kirin 960 chipset.
Metallic Huawei Mate 9 packs a 5.9″ IPS display with resolution 1080p having 2.5D glass. The phablet is just 7.5mm thick and weighs the reasonable 169g. Powerwise, it packs a HiSilicon Kirin 960 Octa-core processor that uses 4 ARM Cortex A72 and 4 ARM Cortex A53 cores. There’s 4GB of RAM which will add fuel to the processor. This time device is also equipped with full GPU, the latest (Bifrost gen) ARM Mali-G71 MP8.
The phone has capability of charging 100% in just 90 minutes. Once fully charged it can hold up with full usage upto 2 days.
The Mate 9 will also come running Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s own EMUI 5.0 on top.
The Mate 9 highlight is, of course, the second-generation Leica camera. It’s a dual-camera setup with a 20 MP f/2.2 monochrome and a 12MP f/2.2 color sensors. It has a dual-LED flash, laser auto-focus, and the sensors have f/2.0 aperture, 2 x optical zoom, as well as a Hybrid autofocus.
he Huawei Mate 9 will be available for €699 in black, space gray, moonlight silver, champagne gold, mocha brown and ceramic white when it launches.
