Huawei is constantly pushing updates to further enhance the experience of one of its best-selling smartphones in the Chinese market— Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro. The company is rolling out the EMUI 11 update with the 11.0.0.165 SP1/SP2 firmware number. According to the changelog, it brings system optimization and stability improvements. Moreover, it drives improved animation effects in the interface.

Alternatively, Huawei has opened an enrollment program via which users will receive the update in a couple of hours. Huawei Mate 40 was released in October last year with a 6.5-inch OLED, HDR10 display. It powers Kirin 9000E 5G coupled with Android 10-based EMUI 11. Mate 40 packs triple camera module at back consisting 50 MP wide + 8 MP telephoto + 16 MP ultrawide sensors. At the front, it has a single 13 MP ultrawide lens. The device offers 128 GB + 8 GB RAM and 256 GB + 8 GB RAM options as storage.
The phone was revealed with Huawei Mate 40 featuring a 6.76-inch screen with OLED, HDR10 display. Also, it is equipped with the same processor. You can access this smartphone in 256 GB + 8 GB RAM and 512 GB + 8 GB RAM storage variants. If we talk about the camera, it houses a triple 50 MP wide + 12 MP periscope telephoto + 20 MP ultrawide rear lens along with a dual 13 MP ultrawide + TOF 3D depth/biometrics sensors at the front.
