Huawei is rolling out a new EMUI 10 based update to Huawei Mate 30 Pro units in China. The new update aims to fix some major fixes and enhance the device’s performance. The issues such as video and music switching have been fixed by optimizing with external effects. It also includes fixes for certain display issues.
The firmware version 10.0.0.133 (C00E132R5P1) is rolling out and weighs over 204 MB in size. The new EMUI 10 based update also brings system-wide optimizations including a fix for the gesture icon which was not displayed sometimes. The flow notification bar is also tweaked to display correctly. Overall, it is an optimization update for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in China.
The update is now rolling out to all the Mate 30 Pro Units in China. The users can manually check for the update by heading to the service app. It may take some time to reach each unit fo the device in the next few days.
the update will not delete any user data, but the company still recommends to make a backup before installing the new update. Access to some third-party apps is also amended in the new update. The user can visit the nearby service center if any issue after upgrading the device occurs.
It is unclear whether the same update will roll out to the global version or not. We have to wait for the official confirmation.
