Huawei has finally announced their triple camera based Huawei Mate 20 series devices. Huawei at an event in London took the wraps off from Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Both the devices are powered by the Android’s first 7nm chipset, Kirin 980. There’s curved display of 6.39 inches that is present on the Mate 20 Pro with an impressive pressure sensitive in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Huawei has launched the high-end Huawei Mate 20 Pro device with a beautiful yet useful triple camera shooters. It carries 40 MP Quad Bater sensor with f/1.8 wide-angle lens, a 20 MP sensor with f/2.2 ultra wide angle lens and an 8MP 80 mm f/2.2 telephoto camera.
On the front, there’s a 24 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 and a 3D face scanner. Both the cameras on teh front and back supports AI features which helps it to recognize the scene, face and helps in various other functions.
It brings 6.3-inch curved OLED display with 1440 resolution and HDR support.
It is powered by a new Kirin 980 chipset with a 7nm chipset with new Cortex-A76 cores. It packs 69% more transistors than its predecessors, which overall brings a 75% boost in its performance. Further, the efficiency of the new Kirin 980 has been increased by 58%.
In other features, it supports 15W fast charging and can perform 70% charging in just 30 minutes with its new SuperCharge tech. It brings stereo speakers with no headphone jack. It is also IP68 certified means fully waterproof. In connectivity, Mate 20 Pro has been attached with Dual band GPS and Dual VoLTE.

It will be available in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage by the end of this month.
Huawei Mate 20 specs and features
Huawei did some changes to the Huawei Mate 20 and added a 6.53-inch flat waterdrop LCD display with a triple camera unit. It doesn’t pack the same triple camera module os of Mate 20 Pro. Instead, it packs 12MP as the main shooter, while 16MP and 8MP telephoto lens to make ultra wide photographs.
On the front side, there’s a 24MP selfie camera with a notched display. There’s a 4000 mAh battery with the support of 22.5W SuperCharge. Unlike the Mate 20 Pro, it hosts a headphone jack but without the stereo speakers. Also, it is not secured by IP68 waterproofing.
There’s also a same Kirin 980 processor with a huge increase in performance and AI. It has dual dedicated NPU which is sufficient enough to manage daily tasks.
Both the devices run on EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie.
It will be available in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage by the end of this month.
