According to the company’s “Honor Smartphone”, Honor announced that it would be launching the Honor 9 smartphone in India. It will be launched on October 5th as per the official sayings. It is already available in the European and chinese market since June. At that time, Honor had not have any plans to sell the phone in the Indian market but now the plans are there and it is coming just couple of days from now.
It packs some great features according to its budget, if we compare it with its price in other markets. The phone has a 5.15-inch full HD display with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage. Honor 9 packs a 3,220 mAh battery with fast charging capability.
The phone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 960 chip and has the Mali G71 octa-core GPU provides for graphics processing. The phone’s back is curved with metal and glass and has Huawei’ signature dual camera setup. It includes 12 and 20-megapixel sensor with dual-LED flash. The front camera has 8-megapixel sensor for selfies.
Overall it is pretty good device and hosts high end features. It has Android 7.0 Nougat on board with EMUI skin on the top. It has come up with different colors like gold, black, blue and grey. It has a base price of 2,299 Yuan ($338 USD) for the 4GB RAM 64GB storage model. It will cost Rs. 22000 when released in India. Honor 9 has better RAM management and snappier animations.
