Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is quite popular in India. So Huawei is going to launch its new Android smartphone Honor 8 in the county on 12th of October 2016. It was earlier already available in China, US and Europe.
Huawei Honor 8 is packed with 5.2-inch 1080p display and the 12MP dual camera system. Other specs include, the phone is powered by Kirin 950 SoC and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal memory options, and packs in a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of camera, the device features a dual-12 MP camera setup on the back and an 8MP front shooter.
The phone features a 2.5 D glass along with 12 MP dual cameras. The dual camera would help increase the depth and color of the image, there’s one regular sensor and one monochrome sensor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It measures 145.5 x 71.0 x 7.45mm and weighs at 153g. As for the price, the handset carries a $399 tag for the 32GB model and $449.99 for the 64GB one in US. So in the Indian market the price will be around ₹27,000 and the phone will give tough competition to Xiaomi Mi5 and Oneplus 3.
