HTML5Test confirms Galaxy Note 10 to feature 19:9 display

The next big thing from the South Korean smartphone maker, Samsung, will be the Galaxy Note 10. According to several rumours and leaks, there will be two Galaxy Notes this year – a regular version and a Pro version. Now, an HTML5Test confirms that Galaxy Note 10 will feature a 19:9 display.

Samsung has just launched its tenth anniversary Galaxy S series smartphones – Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, S10e. The long-awaited foldable phone, Galaxy Fold, was also announced along with them but did not start shipping yet due to display issues. The Galaxy Note 10 series will be the next premium product from Samsung. It is expected to be announced in August like the past couple of years.

The above HTML5Test was conducted on a Verizon Wireless Galaxy Note 10 going by the model number which is SM-N976V. The test confirms the device’s display to be of 19:9 similar to that of Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Which clearly means that the Galaxy Note 10 series will also feature Infinity-O displays also known as punch hole displays. The testing device ran Android Pie which will clearly be the same for the final retail device going by Samsung’s history.

Previous rumours suggested that the regular Galaxy Note 10 will sport a 6.28 inches display compared to a massive 6.75 inches display on the Galaxy Note 10 Pro. Assuming the resolution to be QHD+ (1,440 x 3,040 pixels), the regular and pro versions will have 536 PPI and 498 PPI respectively. The Galaxy Note 10 is also rumoured to be available in both 4G and 5G variants like the Galaxy S10 Plus.
