German href=”http://www.vodafone.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Vodafone”>Vodafone press department now confirmed, href=”http://www.vodafone.de/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Vodafone Germany”>Vodafone Germany is planning to launch href=”http://www.htc.com/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”HTC”>HTC’s first LTE smartphone in Germany. The carrier has confirmed plans to carry the HTC Velocity, the phone known as the HTC Vivid in the US and HTC Raider in other parts of the world.
HTC Velocity is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU and supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 900/2100 MHz as well as dualband LTE at 800/2600 MHz, href=”http://www.bluetooth.org/” rel=”homepage” target=”_blank” title=”Bluetooth”>Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi b/g/n and aGPS. The Velocity features a 4.5″ qHD touchscreen and sports a 8 megapixel autofocus 1080p HD camera on the back and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. Its running on Android 2.3.
