Last year HTC has introduced its U11 flagship handset but unfortunately, it fails to attract the customers. On the official Twitter account, HTC has posted an image depicting a new launch event to happen on 23rd May 2018. Numerous amount of leaks and rumors are already there about the forthcoming HTC U12+ handset and this time we are expecting the launch of the same. Let’s check out more about the upcoming HTC’s U12+ smartphone.
The device is expected to come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845(64 bit) Octa-Core processor coupled with optional 6GB/8GB of RAM. It will be made available in two ROM variants namely 64GB/128GB and will offer expandable storage via micro-SD card up to 2TB’s. The device will run on HTC’s custom Sense UI based on Android 8.0 Oreo. In terms of Display segment, it is expected to feature a 5.5(inch) Quad-HD+ Super LCD 6 Display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. Fortunately, there will be no Display notch on this specific handset.
In the Camera department, there will be a Dual rear 12MP+16MP shooter with Dual-LED Flash, OIS, Aperture f/1.5 whereas in the front a Dual 8MP+8MP shooter will be there with OIS and bokeh mode. HTC U12+ will offer an IP68 certification for protection against water and dust. It will run on a 3420mAh battery with a Qualcomm Quick Charge technology.
