HTC One M7 Google Play Edition is all set for Android 5.1 Lollipop update. Today, HTC’s Vice President of Product Management Mo Versi tweeted a reply to Kenny Maclean, in which he said: @kennymaclean Only the GPE version of M7 will receive 5.1. Our target is early April. Thanks.
Its a good news for the HTC One M7 Google Play Edition users, but on the other hand its also a bad news for regular One M7 users which won;t be getting the Android 5.1 update.
Earlier, HTC began Android 5.0 rollout for HTC One M7 and most of the users have received that update. Particularly, Sprint, T-Mobile and C Spire versions have received the update.
