China is the only country to have gotten a taste of HTC One (E8) so far after its official release at the beginning of this month. And the people there seem to love it exceptionally. HTC claims to have sold about 50,000 units of the One (E8) within 15 minutes of the device going up for orders.
Exceptional sales records like this have been achieved earlier by Xiaomi but HTC seems to be picking up pace too.
And the credit for the exceptional sales of the One (E8) goes to the feature rich device itself. The plastic clad version of the One (M8) which lacks the duo-technology which was present on the (M8) seems to have gotten the attention of the masses. The device which offers features in level with the Galaxy S5 and the One (M8) for almost half the price. The (E8) is currently being offered for 2,799 yuan which converts to about $449. We expect the device to soon hit other markets across the world.
