Android L’s Google preview was recently announced by Google. Though it will be available for all to download tomorrow, the new version of the OS will only be finalized in about a few months month. So it’ll take some time before you see it on an upcoming smartphone.
But that does not seem to be the case with all of them, as HTC has announced that is its already working on bringing the Android L to its range of the ‘One’ smartphones. HTC claims it will start rolling out the update for its current One M8 or One users withing 90 days of receiving the update from Google. Looks like HTC is really keen on rolling out the Android L. There is also news that the upcoming series of One smartphones will also don Android L.
Last year too, HTC had made the 90-day promise about rolling out updates for Android 4.4 Kitkat for HTC One, and had kept its promise. So there’s no need to doubt HTC’s punctuality.
