Just last month, HTC introduced HTC U11 as its flagship device for 2017. The latest handset from HTC was launched in the US less than a couple of weeks ago. The smartphone is currently available in three color variants– Silver, Black, and Blue. Now HTC is all set to launch the stunning Solar Red color variant in the US and pre-orders begin June 20 through HTC’s official website. Today, HTC via its official Twitter handle tweeted, “You spoke, we listened — We’re happy to announce that you’ll be able to pre-order the Solar Red #HTCU11 starting tonight at 12:00am EST.”
The smartphone comes with a glass uni-body design that makes the phone look beautiful and classy. As a reminder, HTC U11 packs Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor and includes either 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage or 6 GB RAM with 128 GB of storage. The smartphone boasts a 12 MegaPixel camera with f1.7 aperture, OIS and Ultraspeed Autofocus. It also sports a 16 MegaPixel front-facing camera with f2.0 aperture and EIS.
The handset is backed by 3000mAh non-removable battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. However, the smartphone’s major highlight remains its innovative Edge Sense Technology, that allows you to interact with the device with just a squeeze.
As of now, HTC did not reveal any details about the pricing of the Solar Red variant. However, we expect the smartphone to be priced at $650 which is equivalent to the price you need to pay for other color options.
