HP has released new tablets to woo some customers and to gain some ground in Android Tablet market. HP today unveiled 4 new tabs namely – Slate 7 Extreme, Slate 8 Pro, Slate 7 HD And Slate 10 HD Android Tablets which ranges in size from 7-inches to 10-inches. Some of the above tabs are powered by a Tegra 4 mobile chipset.
Let’s see what’s packed in each tablet. So starting with
HP Slate 7 Extreme
Its a 7 inch tablet sporting a 1200×800 resolution and is packed with Tegra 4 chipset. Along with NVIDIA’s processor there’s also NVIDIA PureAudio technology which provides true surround sound through front-facing speakers and a dedicated bass-reflex port speaker. It also embedded with 5 megapixel rear-facing camera. Further it includes VGA front camera, 16GB of storage and microSD card slot.
HP has also pre installed some apps which you can disable by heading to settings page. HP Slate 7 Extreme includes stylus which you can use to flip it around and use it as an eraser in supported apps without having to hit any buttons or switches.
Its going to be available in the US from November 2013. HP is stating that “Pricing will be announced closer to availability.”
HP Slate 8 Pro
Its display measures to be of 7.98-inch having 1600×1200 display with an 4:3 aspect ratio–in other words. Its much higher than the iPad Mini’s 1024×768 display. The Slate 8 Pro is very lightweight and super comfortable to hold. HP Slate 8 Pro also features a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. This high-performance tablet includes Kingsoft Office, HP File Manager, HP ePrint, and HP Connected Photo for producing and managing content.
HP Slate 7 HD + HP Slate 10 HD
Well these tablets comes with optional 4G connectivity. You can enjoy many great apps from the Google Play, can hear to innovative sound from Beats Audio, HD display, and two-camera vision, these tablets are ideal for watching videos, surfing the web, and staying connected in more places.
HP Slate 7 HD includes 7 inch 1280×800 pixels of resolution display while HP Slate 10 HD includes 10 inch display. Inside of each beats a dual-core CPU and front- and rear-facing cameras.
Those opting for the 4G models will be able to get 200MB of T-Mobile 4G data for free for two years.
Currently HP is saying that pricing of all the tablets will be released near the availability dates of the Tablets which is in November.
