Announced at CES in Las Vegas, HP Slate 7 is ready for launch. Its pre orders are now live in the UK via HP online store. HP’s Android-packing Slate 7 will be available for £129 price tag and a promise of availability on May 1st.
Currently HP Slate 7 is available only in silver color for customers of UK. Its dark Red color which was first shown off at MWC in february is currently not visible on HP Estore where they are taking pre orders.
Additionally, HP Slate 7 consists 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Its powerhouse is packed with ARM-based Cortex-A9 dual-core processor with 1.6 GHz and fueled by 1GB of RAM. Its available only in 8 GB variant but you can expand it via microSD card. For imaging purposes, HP has bolted VGA sensor on the front and 3 MP on the rear side of tablet.
In software along with Android, you will have access to beats audio and it weighs 370 gms. The Dimensions are 10.7 x 197 x 116 mm.
Globally, Slate 7 will be available by the end of April.
