Huawei’s sub brand Honor launched the Honor 7X last month in their home country China. It comes with mid range specifications at a reasonable price. It also packs a 18:9 bezel less display following the trend. As of now, it is only available in China, but is not going to be like that for a long time. The company’s global president recently said in an interview with IANS that they are going to bring the Honor 7X to India at an “unbeatable price” in December.
It is good to know that they are bringing the Honor 7X in India a month earlier than Honor 6X which was launched in January of this year. Honor’s global president George Zhao also said that they aim to become the top smartphone brand within the next three years. He also said that the Honor 7X will be available both online and offline. The company will focus more on offline with more marketing than before to boost up the sales.
To recall, Honor 7X sports a 5.93 inches 18:9 FHD+ display on the front. Under the hood, it is powered by Huawei’s in house HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor similar to recently launched Honor 9i. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage which can be further expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. For optics, it packs a dual camera setup consisting of 16MP and 2MP sensors. For selfies, it has a 8MP snapper at the front. It runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed up by a 3,340 mAh battery.
Considering the price of previous X series smartphone from Honor, the upcoming 7X will be priced under Rs.15,000. Anyways, we have to wait till December to know the exact price.
