Only recently the Honor 7X was leaked and now the device goes official in China. It will be the successor to the popular Honor 6X first announced while back in 2016 . Honor 7x comes with improved specifications over its predecessor.
On the front, it has a 5.93 inches 18:9 FHD display compared to standard 5.5 inches 16:9 display on the Honor 6X. Under the hood, it is powered by their in-house HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor similar to the recently announced Honor 9i. It has 4GB RAM and comes with either 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expandable upto 256GB via microSD card.
On the back, Honor 7X comes with new dual camera setup consisting of 16MP and 2MP sensors. It has another 8MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. It runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The device is backed by a 3,340 mAh battery and does not come with USB type – C like any other recent smartphones.
The Honor 7X is priced at CNY 1,300 for 32GB , CNY 1,700 for 64GB and CNY 2,000 for 128GB variants. It will be available in Gold, Blue and Black colors. There’s no word yet from Huawei or Honor on lauching the device in other regions. But, it will be definitely launched in international markets similar to any Honor X series smartphone.
