After cutting ties with its parent company due to the US ban issue, Honor has now become independent and can run in India. However, the brand has not offered anything new for a long time, but it is consistent with the updates for their devices. Honor has started updating their devices with EMUI 11 based Magic UI 4.0.

Honor 20 users received the new Magic UI 4.0 update last month. However, the device still had some security flaws. Now, with the latest update Honor has fixed those issues.
The update also carries March 2021 security patch solving 2 critical, 13 major, 132 normal flaws regarding device security. It carries software version 11.0.0142 and is 245 MB in Size.
The update doesn’t include anything major apart from the security patch. The update is rolling out in a phased manner and will be available to every unit by the next couple of days or few weeks. But for those people who cannot wait, can check for the update manually by going to Settings >> System and Update >> Software Update >> Check for Update or you can use the support app.
