Huawei has just started rolling out EMUI 10.1/Magic UI 3.1 to Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro in the European region. The update on both devices comes with build number 10.1.0.230 and weighs a hefty 4.63GB in size. Magic UI 3.1 (based on EMUI 10.1) is currently exclusive for Europe, however, it was initially pushed to Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro in China back in the month of May. The update should soon be available for users across the globe.
MUI 10.1/Magic UI 3.1 brings a variety of new features that mainly include an in-built proprietary app MeeTime that lets you make video calls just like Apple’s FaceTime. The update also adds Huawei’s new digital assistant Celia, new fingerprint animations, cross-device photo gallery, multi-screen support, File editing, multi-device browsing among others.
Some reports suggest that the update is currently available through the Support app. The update is being pushed in several batches and will be available for all Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro users in next few days. If you did not receive the OTA update notification, you can manually check for the update by heading to the Support app > Services > Check for the Update.
If you are one of the lucky users who received the update already, do let us know what all new features make this update worth trying.
