Honor the sub-brand of Huawei starts rolling out December Android Security patch on Honor 10 Lite and Honor 20i. Both these phones are mid-range Android phones and already got EMUI 10 based on Android 10 last month.
Talking about the latest security update, it comes with firmware version EMUI 10.0.0.171 on Honor 10 Lite. On Honor 20i the update comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.170. The update on both the phones doesn’t include any new feature other than security patch.
In December 2019 security patch, There are fixes to 3 critical, 24 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found in the recent build. The update is currently rolling out in India, other markets will get soon.

Although the update is a small one, still we recommend you that do charge your phone up to at least 50% before start installing the update. If you live in India and did not receive the update check it by going through the settings > system > software update.
