A long time ago Nokia has released its Nokia 8 smartphone globally as their flagship offering. To be true the device was good but was not comparable to the devices from other brands. The buyers of the device have complained a lot about the device and the major issue with the handset was that it doesn’t come with a Professional mode for Camera. Two weeks ago HMD had announced that an update for the handset will be available soon. Finally, the update is now rolling out and brings several new tweaks to the handset.

This update from Finnish brand Nokia aims to bring the Professional mode in Camera which was much demanded. The Pro mode allows a user to adjust the camera parameters as per his liking, manual color temperature, manual exposure, manual focus, manual shutter speed, manual ISO, etc are included in it. This update is directly coming from the house of HMD’s CPO(Juho Sarvikas). On his Twitter handle, he has confirmed that “Take control on every photo. Pro mode is now available on Nokia 8”.
The update comes with a firmware version v4.88B, the update weighs hefty at 600MB’s so we would suggest you to better connect your device to an active internet connection. Along with Camera improvements the update aims to bring little variation in the interface and some internal refinements are included too. If you haven’t received the update yet, just head over to the settings menu-about phone-system updates. For more Android stuff stay tuned to GoAndroid.
