Anyways, the mystery will be solved on October 31st when HMD Global finally reveals what they are bringing to India.
The Nokia 7 is priced at RMB 2,499 (₹24,567) in China and the Nokia 2 is supposed to retail for $99 (₹6,437) in the US . This is the first mid range Android smartphone from the company but has their flagship Nokia 8’s feature ‘bothie’. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM variant might not come to India as HMD Global only launched single variant of their previous devices. The body is made up of series 7000 aluminium and 3D Gorilla Glass.
On the front, it sports a 5.2 inches FHD IPS LCD display along with Gorilla Glass protection. For optics, there is a 16MP primary shooter as well as a 5 MP secondary snapper. The users can capture photos or record videos via both the camera simultaneously which Nokia calls ‘bothie’ . The storage can be further expanded via microSD card and the whole package is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
As this is an entry level smartphone, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. It will have a 4.5 inches display and a polycarbonate body. Further, the device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be backed by a giant 4,000 mAh battery.
