Google has been rolling out new version, Hangouts v14. It packs several new features and it’s now compatible with Android 7.1 Nougat. New version has enabled Android 7.1 shortcuts on the Android 7.1.
As per the AP, the changes includes:
- App shortcuts (Android 7.1+)
- New workflow for setting up group chats
- Reorganization of chat menu commands and settings
USers who are on Android 7.1 will now see new App shortcuts which will allow you to have &.1 like options tray after pressing it. Further, Google has fully reshuffled the settings of the app. There’s a new workflow for starting a group chat. All the changes will lead to enriched user experience with less taps.
